Welcome! Thanks for visiting our website. Trinity Church is a diverse group of sinners who have found mercy, love, and hope in Jesus Christ. We seek to follow him and worship him in all we do. You are welcome to join us for worship, or for anything else we do throughout the week.
Sunday morning services are at 8:30 and 10:45.
The 8:30am Sunday morning service liturgy is based on the Book of Common Prayer Rite I. The service includes the Holy Eucharist (communion) with traditional hymns from the 1982 Hymnal.
The 10:45 Sunday morning service liturgy is based on the Book of Common Prayer Rite II order of service. The service includes the Holy Eucharist (communion) with a blend of contemporary worship music, traditional hymns, and sacred music from a wide variety of cultures and traditions.
Walking into a church can be scary and strange. We know. We've all been there. We do hope, though, that you will feel warm and welcomed if you stop by to worship with us on a Sunday morning. Usually, visitors can expect to encounter the following things in one form or another:
Coffee: We try to keep a pot of the good stuff on at all times. We source our beans (most of the time) from Chicco Baccello, a local coffee shop.
Diversity: Our congregation is not united by race, class, common interests, politics, or really anything else outside of our love and need for Jesus Christ. You will see people in suits and ties as well as people with tattoos and torn jeans. You will see retirees chatting it up with middle schoolers. We hope it won't weird you out; its how the Kingdom of God looks.
Liturgy: Its true. We like to sing old songs and pray old prayers, and sometimes we do rituals that might not make a lot of sense if you haven't been to church much before. Don't worry, we are not meaning to make visitors feel alienated - we are just doing the work of worship together. You are welcome to just come, sit, and observe if you feel most comfortable that way. All baptized Christians are welcome to take communion with us.
Kids: We are an intergenerational church that is blessed with a lot of young families. Kids are welcome to stay for the whole service, though we do have an excellent children's program and a nursery.
Food: After the 10:45am service we have snacks in the parish hall downstairs. You are welcome to join. The food alone is worth your time.
The Gospel: Everything we are and everything we do centers around a Savior who lived, died, and rose again for us. We believe that the love and grace of Jesus is for everyone. We are not interested in moral harangues or brow beatings - we preach only Jesus Christ, and him crucified (1 Cor. 2:2). Jesus is God for us. Jesus is God for us.
