The Rev. Jamey Russell
The Rev. Canon Teresa (Tracey) Russell and The Rev. James (Jamey) Russell were ordained as priests into the Anglican Church by the Most Rev. Robert Duncan, Archbishop of the Anglican Church in North America, in January of 2011.
Tracey and Jamey both graduated from Trinity School for Ministry in 2009 with a Master’s of Divinity degree. While at seminary, Tracey was the recipient of the Mike Henning Award for excellence in preaching. Together, Tracey and Jamey also received the John Guest Award for Mission and Evangelism.
Tracey and Jamey helped plant Seeds of Hope Anglican Church in Pittsburgh, and worked there for 8 years. Tracey then became the Youth Pastor at Christ Church Fox Chapel, and the Priest in Charge of I-Heart Blawnox, a Fresh Expressions ministry in the Borough of Blawnox. Jamey also worked at Christ Church Fox Chapel, as a Youth Pastor and preacher, while also running a tech business.
Originally from New England, Tracey and Jamey have been married since 1997. They have five children: Conor, Lily, Jeremiah, Isaac and Hannah. Besides preaching the gospel and raising a family, Tracey enjoys cooking, crocheting, Japanese Anime, board games and walking her dog, a Corgi named Ein. Jamey loves to teach, drum, play guitar, play with his children, and participate in online pixelated fellowship.
